floor. If spillover,residue, or ash accumulates around the bake unit, gently wipe
around the unit with warm water.
Drain fat, cool pan and rack slightly. (Do not let soiled pan and rack stand in ovento
cool.) Sprinkle on detergent. Fill the pan with warm water and spread cloth or paper
toweloverthe rack, Let pan and rack stand for a few minutes. Wash; scour if
necessary. Rinse and dry. OPTION: The broiler pan and rack may also be cleaned in
a dishwasher.
Pull off knobs. Washgently but do not soak. Dry and return controls to range,
makirwsure to match flat area on the knoband shaft.

Washall glass with cloth dampened in soapywater. Rinse and polish with a dry
cloth. If knobsare removed, do not allow water to run downinside the surface of
glass while cleaning,
Wash, rinse, and then polish with a dry cloth. DO NCYI" USE steel wool, abrasives,
ammonia, acids, or commercial ovencleaners which maydamage the finish.
Avoidcleaning powdersor harsh abrasives which may scratch the enamel.
If acids should spill on the range while it is hot, use a dry paper towelor cloth
to wipe up right away.When'the surface has cooled, wash and rinse.
For other spills, such as fat smatterings,etc., wash with soap and water when cooled
andthen rinse. Polish with a dry cloth.
Clean ONLYthe door liner outside the gasket. The door is automatically cleaned
whenthe ovenis in the self-cleaning cycle. If spillover or spattering should occur
whencooking, wipe the door with soap and water. DO NOT rub or damage gasket.
Avoidgetting soap and water on the gasket or in the slots on the door.
Avoid getting ANY cleaning materials on the gasket.

Spatters and spills burn awaywhen the coils are heated. At the end of a meal,
remove all utensils from the Calrod" unit and heat the soiled units at HI. Let the soil
burn off about a minute and switch the units to OFF. Avoidgetting cleaning material
on the coils. Wipe off any cleaning materials with a damp paper towel before heat.inj
