    Description of the system Description of the system The system is used for water disinfection in: Potable water Cooling tower Various process water systems Swimming pools etc. The system is used to produce a chlorine-based disinfectant. ‘free chlorine’ The system is used to electrochemically produce (NaOCl solution) from sodium chloride.

    Description of the system Basic substances required Sodium chloride for the brine storage tank: We recommend the use of CHLORINSITU ® salt. If you do not wish or are unable to do this, only use salt that is cer‐ tified in accordance with the EU Regulation 528/2012. Ensure that the salt meets the following specifications: min.

If inadequately qualified personnel work on the unit or loiter in the hazard zone of the unit, this could result in dangers that could cause serious injuries and material damage.
