Before putting your hands into the smoothie container (8) or the multifunctional container (6),
(for example, to remove stubborn food residues from the cutting blades (5) or (9)) or
removing the motor unit (2) from the multifunctional container, always remove the mains plug
from the mains socket and ensure that the cutting blades (5) or (9) are no longer turning.

12. Environmental regulations and disposal information

A symbol depicting a crossed-out rubbish bin on a product means it is subject to
European Directive 2012/19/EU. All electrical and electronic devices must be
disposed of separately from household waste at official disposal centres.
Do not dispose of the appliance in household waste or bulky waste collections.
Information on collection points and pick-up times can be obtained from your local
council or waste disposal company.

Remedy
Connect the mains plug to a live mains socket.
Place the motor unit (2) properly on to the
lid (3). See steps 5 to 7 in the section on
"Setting up and filling the device" on page 15.
Place the smoothie container (8) onto the motor
unit (2) correctly. See steps 1 to 3 in the section
on "Operation" on page 12.
Remove the mains plug from the mains socket
and wait around 15 minutes. The Smoothie
Maker should then work normally again.
Remove any solid residues from the smoothie
container (8) or the multifunctional
container (6).
If necessary, add a little liquid to the smoothie
container (8) or the multifunctional
container (6).
Check that you have assembled the smoothie
maker correctly.
