DivX

This player can play DivX video files of
versions DivX3.x, DivX4.x, DivX5.x and
DivX6.x. The DivX video files must have the
extension ".avi" or ".divx".
When you download the DivX video files,
input the registration code assigned to this
player. The DivX video files downloaded by
other registration codes cannot be played on
this player. You can confirm the registration
code in the Setup menu (  page 47).

JPEG

The JPEG files must have the extension
".jpeg", ".jpg", or ".jpe".
Notes on all types of
discs
• This player can play discs recorded in either
NTSC or PAL color system. Discs recorded
in any other color systems cannot be played
on this player.
• Recordable/rewritable discs (CD-R/CD-
RW/DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW)
may not play on this player, depending on
the equipment used for the recording or the
condition of the disc.
• Play finalized discs. (Finalizing is a process
necessary for a recorded disc to be played
on the DVD/CD player.) Discs that are not
finalized may not be played on this player.
• Data CDs (CD-ROM/CD-R/CD-RW) must
be recorded conforming to ISO 9660 Level
1/2 and Joliet extension format.
• Data DVDs (DVD-ROM/DVD-R/DVD+R/
DVD-RW/DVD+RW) must be recorded
conforming to UDF (Universal Disc
Format).
Notes
• If you record up to the maximum capacity of the
disc, prohibit additional recording on the writing
software.
• If you record up to the maximum capacity of a
new CD-R/CD-RW in one session, set "Disc at
Once" on the writing software.
• The following discs take a longer time to start
playback.
– A disc recorded with complicated tree structure.
– A disc to which data can be added.

This player CANNOT play these discs.
