    Function Settings The following describes how to set each function. 1. Double Feed Detection This sets double feed detection according to the paper that you are using. Default setting is ‘Mid’ (middle level). Select ‘1. DBL FD detect.’ on the function setting screen and press the MENU/OK key.

    Function Settings Function Settings 2. Slitter/Perforation This function is set when a center slitter unit (optional) or perforator (standard/micro) unit (optional) is connected. When ‘ON’ is selected: If you press the TEST key once, the paper stops in front of the slitter and you can check slit position by pressing JOG REVERSE key or JOG FORWARD key.

    Function Settings 3. Preset Counter This function stops processing by the specifi ed number of sheets. When you want to perform continuous processing, set the counter to ‘0’. Default setting is ‘0’. Select ‘3. Preset counter’ on the function setting screen and press the MENU/OK key.

    Function Settings 5. Downstream Unit This function is set when an optional straight conveyor is connected. The connected optional unit is automatically recognized. However, you can change the setting manually. • If the power to the machine is on when the optional unit is connected, the optional unit is not recognized automatically.

Cut Position Adjustment This function shifts cut position for value set on Cut Position Adjustment (Cut pos. adj.) screen. + (plus) setting shifts cut position backward for value from the paper leading edge. - (minus) setting shifts cut position forward for value from the paper leading edge.
