Adjust knobs on pressure-control valves for opener down pressure so gauges are at: 1800 psi for 2S-2600/F models 2100 psi for 2S-2600HD/HDF models. 5. While watching gauges on drill, slowly turn knob on bypass valve counterclockwise. Adjust bypass valve just until needles on gauges begin to move down from 1800 psi (2100 psi for heavy duty models). -

Always operate farm machinery with safety in mind. General Description On the standard 2S-2600, field operations are controlled by tractor cab hydraulic levers. When openers are lowered, mechanical clutches engage, and the gauge wheels drive the seed meter shafts. Markers, if installed, are on a separate circuit. -

On the standard 2S-2600 drill, the openers raise and lower as a group, from a tractor cab lever. If the Point Row Option is installed, each section can raise and lower independently, using switches on the point row control module in the tractor cab. -

Options Options Hitches One hitch is selected upon initial order of an 2S-2600 Drill, and includes the spring wire loop, safety chain, and all fasteners. Additional hitches may be ordered for conversion in the field, and include extra hitch mounting bolts, lock washers and nuts. - Page 94 116-121A 34210 18943 Point Row Clutch On the standard 2S-2600/F/HD/HDF drill, both sections raise and lower simultaneously. Shutting off seed flow on one or two sections requires stopping and making setup changes. The Point Row Clutch option provides cab control of opener lift on a section-by-section basis.
