LOCATION, CONDENSATION DRAIN, WALL MOUNTING

LOCATION
Install the heat recovery unit in a warm space. This should preferably
be warmer than +10 °C. The Ilox 89 should be installed on a wall using
a wall bracket, or on the ceiling using a ceiling bracket (accessory).
CONDENSATION DRAIN
There is a connection (1/2" internal thread) at the bottom of the unit for
draining condensation.
Use a length of 12 mm pipe or rigid hose to route condensate to the
floor gully or to the wash basin/sink water trap.
Do not connect the condensation pipe to the outflow directly. Always
create a water trap on the pipe by bending it as shown in the adjacent
figure. The height of the water trap is to be 50 - 100 mm. Ensure that
the pipe slopes downwards for its entire length. Fill the water trap.
WALL MOUNTING
1. Screw the wall rails (1) securely into place on the wall. The wall
should preferably be brick, lightweight concrete or concrete. If the
substrate is plasterboard or similar, the wall mounting must be rein-
forced with mesh or plywood.
2. Use a spirit level to check that the rails are horizontally and vertically
true.
3. Remove the two rear mounting bolts, x 2, at the corners of the unit.
4. Lift the unit so that it is resting on the lower edge of the wall rail.
5. Then lift the unit up a little, align the mounting hooks with the holes
on the rear of the unit.
