Powering Up the 1771 KRF

Troubleshooting the Network
with the LEDs
After you have successfully:
set the switch assemblies on the KRF
mounted your KRF in a 1771 I/O chassis
connected the KRF to the DH/DH+ or remote I/O module and your
broadband cable system
you can power up the KRF module. Power up the I/O chassis and PLC
(if necessary, refer to your PLC user's manual for more information).
The front panel of the KRF has three LED indicators for the following:
Transmit
Receive
Fault
These indicators help you troubleshoot problems with the KRF's
installation and operation. Figure 4.14 shows the LEDs:
