5. Repair

5.1 Setting the mains voltage on the
power pack / power supply unit
for the RTM 430

Before operating the power supply unit, please check that the voltage set on the power
pack / power supply unit corresponds to the lighting-circuit mains voltage. Readjust if
necessary.
Electric-shock hazard!
Only authorized servicing technicians may set the mains voltage on the power
supply unit! The power pack / power supply unit must have been disconnected
from the mains power supply before doing this!
– Remove the housing cover.
– Attach the connecting leads on the transformer to the correct voltage input on the
transformer (see illustration).
Possible settings:
230 V (factory setting)
250 V, 100 V, 110 V, 127 V
– Replace the mains fuse by the supplied fuse (4 A, slow-blow).
– Close the housing cover.
– Conduct the safety test as specified by local regulations (e.g. in accordance with VDE
in Germany).

! The adhesive label specifying the voltage must be replaced if the mains voltage
setting is adjusted. The adhesive label is enclosed with the RTM 430.
