1.2 Front Panel LED Indicators

The MJ-X Communications Module has five LED indicators.
•
Power indicates the MJ-X Communications Module is powered on.
•
Watchdog ("Wdog") blinks steadily to indicate the MJ-X Communications Module microprocessor and
software are functioning properly.
•
Communications ("Comm") indicates communications activity with this module.
•
Receive Data (Rxd) indicates the communications module is receiving data.
•
Transmit Data (Txd) indicates the communications module is transmitting data.

2 Transmission Methods

The MJ-X Communications Modules comes in two varieties to support 1) fiber optic and 2) wire (RS-232/485)
transmission mediums.
