4. CLEANING AND CARE
The architecture SL may only be cleaned when cold.
4.1 CLEANING CLADDING PARTS
• Wait until the device has cooled down before cleaning (at least 1 hour)!
• Decorative metal surfaces and the cladding parts can be cleaned with a
moist cloth (do not use a microfibre cloth!).
• Glass surfaces can be cleaned with a standard glass cleaner and a soft
cloth (do not use a microfibre cloth!)
• Stainless steel surfaces can be cleaned with a standard stainless steel
cleaner.
• Only use in the direction of the finish!
Remove any dust on and below the ebios-fire furniture regularly as dust
particles can burn or char. This can cause dirt in the room and on the
furnishings where the fire is installed.
5. MAINTENANCE/TROUBLESHOOTING
The wick and burner mat must be visually inspected at regular intervals.
The material can be easily damaged. As such, the burner mat should not be
folded, bent or similar. It is not permitted to change the burner mat or wick.
• The burner mat must be replaced after approx. 380 service hours (corre-
sponds to a fuel throughput of around 190 l bioethanol). Please contact
your specialist dealer.
• Only use our original spare parts.
• The tank seal must be examined occasionally for cracks or brittleness
and should be replaced if necessary.
• Please contact your specialist dealer should you have any questions.
5.1 FURNITURE AND GLASS (DEPENDING ON THE
MODEL) BECOMES SOOTED HEAVILY, RAPIDLY
AND UNEVENLY
If this did not occur from the very start, please check the following points:
• Has the correct fuel been used?
• Cladding/cover correctly positioned?
5.2 FIRE IS DIFFICULT TO IGNITE
If this did not occur from the very start, please check the following points:
• Is there fuel in the burner?
• Have you ignited the ignition mats?
• Has the correct fuel been used?
5.3 UNPLEASANT ODOURS
• Fuel in a burner which is not in use?
• Cover plate in position?
• Fuel was spilt when filling the device?
5.4 APPEARANCE OF FLAMES CHANGES
• Is the burner mat damaged?
• Has the correct fuel been used?
• Were all safety distances observed?
• Is the site of installation sufficiently ventilated?
• Is the installation site protected from transverse ventilation?
Should the appearance of the flames change, in particular if the flames
should rise above the glass panes, the device should be switched off (see
3.6) and the dealer must be notified!
