VGA C Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN VGA Cat5/5e/6 ® ExtEndEr Extender Receiver, Model 177245. rECEiVEr By extending VGA and audio signals rEFErEnCE using Cat5/5e/6 cables for longer distance transmissions, this handy GUidE device helps provide you with more... - Page 2 CONNECTIONS: • Connect the UTP Input (RJ45) to the UTP Output (RJ45) on the MANHATTAN Splitter/Extender Transmitter, Model 177252 using Cat5 or Cat6 cable (not included). • Connect the VGA Output to the remote display. • Connect the Audio Out to the remote audio device (speakers, headphones, etc.). • Connect the included power adapter to the DC/5V jack, then plug the adapter into an AC outlet. • Check that the Power LED is lit (next to the UTP Input (RJ45) jack to confirm that the device is operational. • Adjust the Gain and Peak (located on the side of the receiver) levels as desired. OPERATING GUIDELINES: • Always make sure the proper power supply is being used before installation or operation. • Use matched cable to avoid improper operation or damage. • Ensure units are well ventilated and away from excessive heat and humidity/moisture. • Never open the device(s) without professional assistance.
