1 Opens the Carrying Case and removes the Backboard.
Places the Backboard under the patient and positions it

correctly.
Removes the Frame; lifts the patient's arms over the
3 head; and attaches the Frame. Pulls up on the Frame to
test that it is securely locked in place.
Removes the Compression Module; checks to make sure
4 a Patient Interface Pad and a Battery Pack is installed,
and inserts it into the Frame, rotating to lock into place.
5 Adjusts the position of the Compression Piston.
6 Turns the device On.
Selects compression protocol and starts compressions.

8 Applies the Stabilization Strap.
9 Applies the Wrist Straps (if used).
Changes the Battery Pack.
