Install screws 1.
When the motorcycle is again
ridden with a lower load:
z
Readjust the headlight beam
throw.

Spring preload

Adjustment
Spring preload has to be
adjusted to suit the weight of
rider, passenger and luggage.
Increase spring preload for
heavier riders, decrease spring
preload for lighter riders.
Adjusting spring preload
for rear wheel
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motor-
cycle on its stand.
To increase the spring preload,
turn the adjusting ring 1 in the
direction of arrow A using the
tool from the toolkit.
To reduce the spring preload,
turn the adjusting ring 1 in the
direction of arrow B using the
tool from the toolkit.

Stage 1 (One-up riding
