The DM-1X is a high speed and high power motor. It is specifically recommended for
driving the focus ring of cinema lenses.
The DM-2 is a smaller and lighter weight motor. It is recommended for driving the zoom
and iris of all lenses, and the focus for all but very stiff lenses.
The DM4X motor (right) is the smallest member of the family. It's recommended for either
light-weight video lenses or the zoom/iris rings of small zoom or prime lenses.
Standard motor output gears are .80m. They are available in .25" and .50" face widths.
These standard gears are designed to accept additional "step-up" gears for use with
lenses having alternate gear pitches.
