    Antenna Assembly Orient the antenna so that the Winegard logo is facing forward. Flip the forward elements to the front until the holes in the elements align. Forward Elements Winegard logo With the holes lined up, install the UHF elements by inserting the threaded posts into the holes in the forward elements.
  • Page 3 Position the antenna toward the broadcast tower for optimal reception. For most locations, stations will only come from one or two directions. If the compass headings are similar (<30° apart), the FreeVision antenna can be aimed between the two areas and receive signals from each location.

    Painting the FreeVision Antenna The FreeVision antenna can be painted as long as the metal prongs of the forward elements and the matching transformer forks are not painted. If you choose to paint the antenna, cover the two circled areas with tape before painting.
