Usage of VMSM 4-1 Printer Communication Setting To use the VMSM (Virtual Memory Switch Manager), It is necessary to set status of communication between Printer and PC. 1) Run the “SRP_275II_275III _500VMSM(V3.0.x).exe” file. 2) After double-clicking “SRP_275II_275III_500 VMSM (Ver3.0.x).exe”, you will see this dialog. - Page 5 Impact / Inkjet Printer 4) Click “Connect” button to check communication status. Impact / Inkjet Printer 4-6 SRP-500 Vertical Alignment The ink cartridge can be aligned properly using this software to yield best quality printing. This software should be used to align ink cartridges when newly installing and/or replacing them. Use of this software will facilitate the proper placement of both black and white and color printing when contained in the same line and/or image. - Page 15 Impact / Inkjet Printer 3) To align the ink cartridge, the print out of a pattern must be examined to select the best print result in accordance. Selecting the Pattern Print button results in the printing of four patterns from A to D. Each pattern is printed vertically according to a number range from –3 to +3.
