Overload protection FLOTEC AUTOJET series pumps have a built-in thermal protection switch. The pump stops if an overload condition occurs. The motor restarts automatically after it has cooled down (see point 3 of the Troubleshooting section for information on causes and corrective actions). -

Insert the pump plug into a 230 V alternate current socket. The pump starts immediately. FLOTEC AUTOJET series automatic electropumps are self-priming. Therefore, they can be started without having to fill the inlet pipe with water. However, it is necessary to fill the pump body. The priming operation requires a few minutes. -

In ordinary conditions, FLOTEC AUTOJET series electropumps do not require any maintenance. To prevent possible problems, it is advisable to periodically check the pressure supplied and current absorption. A reduction of the pressure may indicate that the electropump is worn.
