Press the MENU button.
The system menu appears on the monitor screen (see
page 77).

Select SETUP MENU using the M/MARK1 button or
m/MARK2 button, then press the ,/OUT button.
The setup menu appears on the monitor screen (see
page 77).

Select DISPLAY CONTROL using the M/MARK1
button or m/MARK2 button, then press the ,/OUT
button.
The DISPLAY CONTROL menu appears on the
monitor screen (see page 81).

Select BRIGHTNESS using the M/MARK1 button or
m/MARK2 button, then press the ,/OUT button.
The LCD BRIGHTNESS screen appears on the
monitor.

Adjust the brightness while viewing the screen.
You can change the values of digits which flash in the
settings screen. Setting values are hexadecimal (00 to
7F (HEX)).
To change the flashing digits
Use the arrow buttons (</IN, ,/OUT).
To increase or decrease the values of the flashing
digits

Use the arrow buttons (M/MARK1, m/MARK2) or jog
dial.
To return the settings to the factory defaults
EJECT
Press the RESET button.

When you are finished making adjustments, press the
SET button.
The message "NOW SAVING..." appears, the settings
are saved, and the menu closes.
To clear the menu from the screen without saving
adjustments
Press the MENU button twice in succession.
