q Check all hardware to verify tightness.
q Inspect the PES blower dampers and verify they operate freely and do not bind.
q Use the key-flow procedure (if applicable) to ground the PES.
q Couple the input and output operators.
q Perform general cleaning inside and around the enclosure.

services .
The following procedures require the PureWave UPS System to have utility power . The
system should be placed in the Bypass Isolate state prior to conducting the proceeding
equipment testing procedures . Failure to do so can result in personal injury or equipment
damage .
Equipment Testing
q Verify all smoke detectors are available, undamaged and operate when tested.
q Enable the system and verify the air conditioners are working properly by measuring
and recording the compressor current draw on each air-conditioning (A/C) unit with
an ammeter after the A/C unit has been running for 2 minutes. Operate the A/C unit by
either pushing in the A/C contactor in the bay being tested or by applying a jumper at the
HVAC PLC. The current should be between 10 and 15 amps. Record these measurements
in the table below.

q Hold your hand under each of the air conditioners to verify cool air is still being produced.
q Record the ambient temperature below when air conditioner testing is being performed.
Replace the switchable output blocks with the original output blocks after verification
(if used).
