Enclosure

Do not enter the system enclosures unless trained, certified, and authorized to do so by
S&C Electric Company . Physical entry into the enclosure should never be attempted while
the system is enabled or when the modules are online . Voltages up to 600 Vdc and 15
kVac should be expected under normal operating conditions . Dc voltage is present even
without the utility power connected .
The enclosure is meant to provide access for field-troubleshooting purposes only when
properly grounded . Never, under any circumstances, open the enclosure doors while it
is online or has not been fully discharged and grounded . Failure to do this can result in
equipment damage, personal injury, or even death .
