Power Electronic Switch and Switchgear Enclosure

The power electronic switch (PES) and switchgear enclosure houses the PES, which is used to
switch the source from the utility/generator to the PureWave UPS System and vice versa. The
bypass circuitry is also housed in this enclosure, which consists of a source circuit breaker, a
load circuit breaker, and a bypass circuit breaker. See Figure 6. See Figures 7 and 8 on page
15 for the location of the other main components of the enclosure.
