MIDI SETTINGS
Here you can adjust the MIDI functions of your digital piano.
To access the System menu, proceed as follows:
1. Enter the Functions Menu by pressing the Menu softbutton.
2. Use the upper/lower cursor keys to select the submenu „MIDI Settings" and press the
right cursor key to enter.
3. Use the Exit softbutton to leave the menu.
TRANSMIT CHANNEL
Use the MIDI transmission channel to specify which channel (1-16) should transmit signals
between the digital piano and the connected device.
To select the MIDI transmit channel, proceed as follows:
1. Enter the "MIDI Settings" Menu (-> see 6.6) and navigate to the

3. Use the Exit softbutton to leave the menu.
LOCAL CONTROL
The Local Control function enables you to mute the built-in speakers of your digital piano
while signals are still transferred via the MIDI OUT connection (Off). This is very useful if
you would like to operate a different instrument or a computer-based recording program
using the keyboard of your digital piano, without producing sound from the digital piano at
the same time. If you want to reenable the internal sound, set this value to "On".
Proceed as follows:
1. Enter the "MIDI Settings" Menu (-> see 6.6) and navigate to the

3. Use the Exit softbutton to leave the menu.

The determined channel defines:
– In Split Mode: the transmit channel of the right keyboard zone.
The left keyboard zone is automatically transmitted through the
next highest MIDI channel.
– In Dual Mode: the transmit channel of the first sound. The
second sound is automatically transmitted via the next highest
MIDI channel.
