Separating/Connecting Engine and Tool

1. Separation
Loosen the 2 bolts on holder case in order to remove drive
shaft from holder case(Fig .II-1).
2. Connection
1.Fully insert the drive shaft into the holder case
(Approximately 60 mm;2-3/8",). If the inner shaft resists full
insertion of the drive shaft, insert it again after slightly
rotating the drive shaft or the support washer on the gear case
to match the inner shaft with the hole inside the holder case.
2.After making sure that the drive shafts is installed fully and
correctly, tighten the screws M5 X 18 to secure the drive
shaft.

Connection of throttle wire

1.Connect the throttle wire (Fig .II-2)
2.Squeeze the throttle lever to make sure that the throttle
wire moves smoothly.
3.Connect the switch cords to the two cords from the
engine by inserting one into the other.
4.Wrap the waist pad around the drive shaft so that the
hanger will protrude through the slit in the waist pad and
the throttle wire and the cords will also be wrapped under
the waist pad.(Fig.II-3).
5.Insert the bullet connectors. (Fig. II- 4).
