Connecting to computers

Preparing the camera and the
computer

Connect the USB adaptor for
Multi connector (supplied) and
the USB cable (supplied).

Insert the sufficiently charged
battery pack in the camera.
• When you copy images to your computer
using a battery pack with little remaining
charge, copying may fail or image data may
become corrupted if the battery runs out too
soon. It is recommended to use an AC
Adaptor (not supplied) and the USB, AV,
DC IN cable for multi-use terminal (not
supplied) or "Cyber-shot Station" (not
supplied).

When you connect the camera and a
computer with USB cable, "PMB Portable"
will automatically start up.
• For details on how to operate "PMB Portable"
see the Help within "PMB Portable".
• When uploading images via Internet, including
this product, note that depending on the Internet
service provider, the cache may remain within
the computer used.
