Troubleshooting
The icons no longer appear.
When the top right of the screen is touched, the icons will be momentarily disappear. Taking
•
the finger off the screen makes the icons reappear.
[Display Setup] is set to [Image Only]. Set to [Normal] or [Simple].
•
The slideshow music (background music) does not play.
Use "Music Transfer" to import music into the camera (page 99).
•
Left and right sides of the screen are shown in black.
[Auto Orientation] is set to [On] (page 83).
•
The image does not appear on the TV.
Check [Video Out] to see if the video output signal of the camera is set to the color system of
•
your TV (page 80).
Check whether the connection is correct (page 86).
•
If the USB connector of the USB cable is connected to another device, disconnect it
•
(page 97).
You are trying to play back movies in HD(1080i) output. Recorded movies cannot be viewed
•
at high-definition image quality. Set [COMPONENT] to [SD] (page 80).

Deleting/Editing images

Cannot delete an image.
Cancel the protection (page 67).
•
Cannot paint/retouch.
You cannot paint or retouch the following images.
•
Movies

When viewing images on TVs connected to the camera
–
Images in "Memory Stick Duo"
–
Images in Favorites or Sharemark
–

Computers

Computer OS compatibility with camera is unknown.
Check "Recommended computer environment" on page 91.
