    SERVICING LUBRICATION OF THE CUTTER BAR GEARS (DIFFICULTY 1) The cutter bar gears must be lubricated after the first 25 hours of operation and every 50 hours thereafter . SHARPENING THE BLADES (DIFFICULTY 2) Sharpen the blades little but often. Check the sharpness of the blades regularly during the first hours of work in order to determine the necessary sharpening frequency.
