We recommend you consult your authorized Jacuzzi dealer for guid-
ance before attempting to restart your spa under these conditions.
Contact your Jacuzzi retailer if you have any questions about
using your hot tub in winter or preparing it for the winter.
Maintaining water quality
To reduce the risk of contracting water-related pathologies or res-
piratory diseases, the water quality must be kept within the specified
limits. This requires constant monitoring as the chemical aspect in-
volves a combination of different factors that need to be balanced.
Delaying water maintenance work leads to poor hygiene that is po-
tentially damaging to your health, and also has an impact on the
life of the hot tub.
For a specific guide to maintaining water quality, consult the Jacuz-
zi® system guide on water treatment and the relevant catalogue, or
contact your authorised Jacuzzi retailer.
CLEARRAY™ Water Purification System
The CLEARRAY water purification system is an exclusive technol-
ogy that takes advantage of natural ultraviolet radiation to elimi-
nate bacteria, viruses and algae potentially present in the hot tub
water. Ultraviolet light, also known as UV-C or germicidal light,
neutralises these organisms, also breaking down the DNA, so as
to prevent reproduction.
The CLEARRAY system, which is directly connected to your filtra-
tion system, works as follows:
- the water coming from the pump, from the filter and from the
heater is disinfected by ultraviolet light, after which it is intro-
duced back into the spa.
The system is equipped with a power converter whose operation
is signalled by two LEDs: the red one indicates that the device is
powered, while the green one indicates that it is operating cor-
rectly.

Note: the CLEARRAY system only works when the jets pump 1 is
operating at reduced speed (filtration, etc.).
After one year, the lamp must be replaced. If the UV timer has
been programmed correctly (please refer to the corresponding
section), at the end of the allotted time shown on the display, the
message "blb" will appear, indicating the need to install a new UV
lamp and to reset the timer.
