Removing the upper soft-close
mechanism
Open the upper appliance door.
If a door seal is damaged the
door will not close properly and cool-
ing performance will be reduced.
Condensate will build up in the in-
terior and this can cause a build-up
of ice.
Do not damage the door seal.
Loosen the panel from the soft-
close mechanism by inserting a flat-
headed screwdriver into the gaps
from below and, taking care, gradu-
ally lift the panel off.
Changing the door hinging
Push the panel toward the appli-
ance and leave it hanging there
between the door and appliance to
start with.
Place red safety aid (supplied with
the appliance) onto soft-close mech-
anism and click it into position.
The safety aid prevents the hinge from
snapping shut.
Do not remove the red safety aid until
instructed to do so.
Gently loosen cover from latch by
inserting a flat-headed screwdriver
from above and below.
