Selecting Calibration mode
To select Calibration mode:
1. Push and hold STBY for 16 seconds until the display shows CAL .
2. Momentarily press the STBY and AUTO keys: the RayPilot is now
in Calibration mode.
3. Use the AUTO key to page through each of the calibration
features.
4. Adjust settings as required using the L and M keys or the Course
Change knob.
Saving calibration settings
The calibration settings are saved by pressing and holding the STBY
key for 2 seconds until the pilot returns to Standby mode.
To exit calibration mode without saving new settings push STBY
momentarily.
Workboat vessel type settings
A number of the calibration options have two settings, which allow
different steering characteristics to be set up for passage making (high
speeds) or working (low speeds). The threshold speed for changing
between these settings can also be preset in calibration (speed
threshold).
Vessel type
Vessel type relates to type of craft the RayPilot 650 will be used on:
1. Displacement
2. Semi displacement
3. Planing
4. Sterndrive
5. Workboat (default)
Calibration lock
Calibration lock allows you to protect the calibration settings you
have selected against unauthorized adjustments:
0 = Off (default)
1 = On
