N4, N8, N16, N32 Network Video Recorders Quick Setup Guide
This guide provides instructions to initially setup the N4 (4 channel), N8 (8 channel), N16 (16 channel) and N32 (32 channel) network video
recorders (NVRs). The NVRs support these advanced features:
Supports IP cameras with ONVIF and other protocols
N4 supports recording bandwidth up to 40 MBps, N8 and N16 support recording bandwidth up to 128 MBps,
N32 supports recording bandwidths up to 320 Mbps
Supports recording resolutions of 8 MP, 5 MP, 3 MP, 2 MP (1080P), 1.3 MP (960P), 1.0 MP (720P)
H.264/H.265 Video encoding
N4, N8, N16 support 1 HDD up to 8TB, N32 supports 4 HDDs up to 8TB
Simultaneous HDMI / VGA monitor output
Supports HDVision mobile app for iOS and Android
DDNS, PoE and P2P remote connectivity

    Unpackage your HDD. Use this step if you need to install or replace an HDD in your NVR. Your recorder must have an HDD to record data locally. N4, N8 and N16 Connect a SATA cable and one of the HDD power cables to the HDD as shown in the picture below on the left.

    Install the analog cameras that will connect to the LAN1 .. LAN8 connectors on the back of the NVR. Route Ethernet extension cable(s) between the cameras and the NVR.
