Labeling a CD
(CD unit with the custom file function)
You can record a title of up to 8 characters for
each disc. The disc title appears in the display
whenever you insert the disc and play it. Up to
110 disc titles can be stored in memory.
Tip
To cancel the current
display and return to
the previous display,
press BACK.
Tip
To erase/correct a
name, enter "_" (under-
bar) for each character.

While playing a CD, press LIST for two
seconds.
The Disc Memo Write indication appears.

Press > or . until the character you want to
enter appears, then press /.
Each time you press >, the character changes as
follows:
A n B n C n ...Z n 0 n 1 n 2 n ...9 n + n – n
* n / n \ n > n < n . n _ (under-bar) n A...
Press . to move backwards.

If you want to put a blank space between characters,
select "_"(under-bar).

Repeat step 2 until you have entered the
entire title, then press ENTER.
The normal display appears.
