Maintenance and care

Cleaning
Danger!
If metals are work over a prolonged period,
conductive dust may become deposited
inside the housing.
Regularly clean the power tool and
ventilation slots. Frequency of cleaning
is dependent on the material and duration
of use.
n Regularly blow out the housing interior
and motor with dry compressed air.
Leave the power tool running.
Charger
Danger!
Before performing any work, pull out the
mains plug. Do not use water or liquid
detergents.
n Remove dirt and dust from the housing
with a paint brush or dry cloth.
Repairs
Repairs may be carried out by an authorised
customer service centre only.
Spare parts and accessories
Other accessories, in particular insertion
tools, can be found in the manufacturer's
catalogues.
Transport
The lithium equivalent quantity of the
batteries included in the product package
is less than the relevant limit values.
Therefore the battery as an individual
component as well as the power tool and its
product package are not subject to national
or international dangerous goods
regulations.

If transporting several power tools
containing lithium ion batteries, these
regulations may become relevant and
special safety measures may be required
(e g. for the packaging).
In this case find out about the currently valid
regulations for the country of use.

Disposal information

Danger!
Render redundant power tools unusable
by removing the power cord.
EU countries only
Do not throw electric power tools
into the household waste!
In accordance with the European Directive
2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment and transposition into
national law used electric power tools must
be collected separately and recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Danger!
Do not throw accumulators/batteries into the
household waste, fire or water. Do not open
disused batteries.
Accumulators/batteries should be collected,
recycled or disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.
EU countries only:
In accordance with Directive 91/157/EEC
defective or used batteries must be
recycled.
