with the balance control (19)
In the mono mode, the two signals will be mixed
to one mono signal and then fed identically to both
earphones The balance control will define the mix-
ing ratio The mono mode is also recommended

5.5.3 Menu item "Limiter"
The integrated limiter is used for limiting the signal
level for the earphones connected to the receiver
When the level exceeds a maximum value depend-
ing on the adjustment of the volume control (18),
the limiter will reduce the level to this value This
will protect your ears from signal peaks suddenly
occurring and will allow a higher monitoring vol-
ume for low and average signal levels It is therefore
recommended to activate (ON) the limiter with the
button + (21) On the display, activation of the lim-
iter will be indicated by "LIM" (g) If, on the other
hand, the dynamic efficiency of the music signal is
to be maintained, deactivate (OFF) the limiter with
the button − (22)
Note: It is the function of the limiter to protect your ears
from temporary signal peaks It will not be able to prevent
any damage to your hearing if you are subjected to very
high volumes for a longer period

5.6 Fastening the receiver

Via the belt clip (25) to be locked into the grooves
on both sides of the receiver, the receiver can be
fastened on your clothes, for example When using
a wireless microphone or transmitter for a musical
instrument at the same time, make sure that the
transmitter and the receiver are not placed side by
side; they might interfere with each other It will be
better to place the two units apart, e g one on the
right side and one on the left side of your body
5.7 Further optional features
of the transmitter
5.7.1 Operating mode MONO / STEREO
Regardless of the receiver, it is also possible to se-
lect the operating mode MONO or STEREO for the
transmitter Set the transmitter to mono when only
one input is used The signal will then be fed to both
sides However, when using the system in the mix /
mono mode, the transmitter must be set to STEREO
while the receiver is set to MONO
