You must have stored a valid user MMSID
into your NS100 radio in order to access
these DSC functions.
This reference section explains how to send, and respond to, different types of DSC
distress calls. For distress calls, the radio is capable of automatically sending and
receiving enhanced position information that specifies the position of the distressed
vessel to within about 60ft (18m).
