CAUTION
Do not touch the lock release levers located on the right-and-left
sides of the paper cassette when the plate of paper cassette is
locked. The plate may snap forcefully if the lock is released and may
result in personal injuries.

Hold the lock release lever on the rear paper guide and slide
the paper guide to the mark indicating the appropriate
paper size.
The paper size indicated on the paper guide should be aligned with the

Adjust both sides of the paper guides to the position of
paper to be loaded.

When adjusting the paper guides, hold both guides at one time.
Set this part to the
position of paper size
mark.
IMPORTANT
Slide the paper guide to the "B5-JIS" position when using B5 size paper
(182 mm x 257 mm). "B5-ISO" and "8.5" x 13"" are not used.

Align the paper guide to the position shown in the figure ("B5-JIS" position)
