•
Confirm that there is sufficient space between the paper limit guides and
the paper stack. Take out some paper when there is no space.
•
Load the paper stack straight.
•
If the rear edge of the paper stack is not properly aligned, it may result in
misfeeds or paper jams.
•
If the paper is curled or folded at corners, flatten it before loading.
•
Double-feeding may occur frequently if the edges of the paper stack are
not aligned properly. In this case, align the edges of the stack on a hard,
flat surface.
NOTE
To print on letterhead paper or paper printed with a logo, load the paper so
that the print side is facing up and the top of the paper goes into the far
end.
6
Slide the paper guides so that they fit to both sides of the
paper stack.
IMPORTANT
•
Be sure to align the paper guides with the width of the paper. If the guides
are too loose or too tight, it may result in misfeeds or paper jams.
•
Do not touch the paper in the multi-purpose tray or pull it out while printing.
It may result in a faulty operation.
