Shooting with manual adjustment

Adjusting the exposure

You can manually adjust and set the exposure.
Adjust the exposure manually in the following
cases:
– When you need a fine adjustment for backlit
subjects.
– When shooting subjects and dark backgrounds
– When recording dark pictures (e.g. night
scenes) faithfully
(1) Set the AUTO LOCK selector to the centre
(auto lock release) position while the POWER
switch is set to CAMERA or MEMORY/
NETWORK (DCR-TRV950E only) (p. 86).
(2) Press EXPOSURE. The exposure indicator
appears.
(3) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to adjust the
brightness.

AUTO
LOCK
To return to automatic exposure
Set the AUTO LOCK selector to AUTO LOCK or
press EXPOSURE. The exposure indicator
disappears.
When you adjust the exposure manually, the
following functions do not work:
– Backlight
– Spot light
– Shutter speed adjustment
If you press PROGRAM AE
Your camcorder also returns to automatic
exposure.
Filmen met handmatige
instelling

Belichting regelen

U kunt de belichting met de hand instellen.
Onder de volgende omstandigheden kunt u
betere opnamen verkrijgen door de belichting
met de hand bij te stellen:
– Voor fijnregeling bij het filmen met tegenlicht.
– Bij het filmen van onderwerpen op een donkere
achtergrond
– Om een donkere sfeer (bijv. nachtscène)
natuurgetrouw vast te leggen.
(1) Zet de AUTO LOCK keuzeschakelaar in het
midden (automatische ontgrendeling) met de
POWER schakelaar op CAMERA of
MEMORY/NETWORK (alleen DCR-
TRV950E) (p. 86).
(2) Druk op EXPOSURE. De belichtingsinstelbalk
verschijnt in beeld.
(3) Draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop om
de helderheid naar wens in te stellen.
HOLD
Terugkeren naar automatische
belichting
Zet de AUTO LOCK keuzeschakelaar op AUTO
LOCK of druk op EXPOSURE. De
belichtingsindicator verdwijnt.
Bij het handmatig instellen van de belichting
werken de volgende functies niet:
– Backlight
– Spot light
– Sluitersnelheidsregeling
Wanneer u op PROGRAM AE drukt
Uw camcorder schakelt ook weer over naar
automatische belichting.
