Identifying parts and controls
To prepare the Remote Commander
Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries by matching the
+ and – on the batteries to
the + and – in the battery compartment.
Notes on the Remote Commander
•Point the remote sensor away from strong light
sources such as direct sunlight or overhead
lighting. Otherwise, the Remote Commander
may not function properly.
•Your camcorder works in the commander mode
VTR 2. Commander modes 1, 2 and 3 are used
to distinguish your camcorder from other Sony
VCRs to avoid erroneous remote control
operation. If you use another Sony VCR in the
commander mode VTR 2, we recommend
changing the commander mode or covering the
sensor of the VCR with black paper.

Plaats 2 AA (R6) batterijen in de batterijhouder
en hou daarbij rekening met de + en –
aanduidingen.
Opmerkingen bij de afstandsbediening
•Let voor de afstandsbediening op dat de sensor
op de videorecorder niet blootgesteld staat aan
directe zonnestraling of fel licht. Anders kan de
afstandsbediening niet naar behoren
functioneren.
•Uw camcorder werkt in de bedieningsstand
VTR 2. De bedieningsstanden 1, 2 en 3 dienen
om uw camcorder te onderscheiden van andere
Sony videorecorders en bedieningsfouten te
voorkomen. Als u reeds een andere Sony
videorecorder met afstandsbedieningsstand
VTR 2 gebruikt, dan is aanbevolen om eerst de
bedieningsstand van de andere videorecorder
te veranderen, of de afstandsbedieningssensor
van dat apparaat met een stukje zwart papier af
te dekken.
