Remote control direction
Aim the Remote Commander to the remote
sensor.
The operative range of the Remote Commander
is about 16.4 feet (5 m) indoors. Depending on
the angle, Remote Commander may not activate
the camcorder.
Notes on the Remote Commander
•Keep the remote sensor away from strong light
sources such as direct sunlight or illumination.
Otherwise, the remote control may not be
effective.
•Be sure that there is no obstacle between the
remote sensor on the camcorder and the
Remote Commander.
•This camcorder works at commander mode
VTR4 or ID. The commander modes (VTR4 or
ID) are used to distinguish this camcorder from
other Sony VCRs to avoid remote control
misoperation. If you use another Sony VCR at
commander mode ID, we recommend you
change the commander mode or cover the
remote sensor of the VCR with black paper.
•You do not need to register the ID again once
you have done so. Set the COMMANDER to
ID in the menu system, and set the VTR4/ID/
VTR2 selector ID on the Remote Commander to
ID.
•The registered ID is not erased even if the built-
in rechageable vanadium-lithium battery gets
discharged.

Notas sobre el mando a distancia

• Compruebe que no existen obstáculos entre el
sensor remoto y el mando a distancia.
• Esta videocámara funciona en el modo de
mando VTR4 o ID. Los modos de mando
(VTR4 o ID) se utilizan para diferenciar esta
videocámara de otras videograbadoras de
Sony con el fin de evitar operaciones
inadecuadas del control remoto. Si usa otra
videograbadora de Sony en el modo de mando
ID, se recomienda cambiar el modo de mando
o cubrir con papel negro el sensor remoto de la
videograbadora.
• No es necesario volver a registrar el ID una vez
realizada la operación. Ajuste COMMANDER
en la posición ID en el sistema de menús, y el
selector de ID VTR4/ID/VTR2 en la posición
ID en el mando a distancia.
• El ID registrado no se borra aunque la pila
incorporada de vanadio-litio recargable se
descargue.
