In the case of an application managing exclusively PCM audio, the latency of the Wave driver can be optimized activating the option “PCM only” in the Digigram control panel (CPL). With this option enabled, the latency of the Wave driver is optimized (in this case the PCX HR on- board MPEG encoding/decoding is disabled).

From this Recording Control window, you can select the input the application will use by clicking on one of the “Select” check boxes: Analog Input, Digital Input, or digital SYNC Input. • Analog Input: Volume and Balance use the analog input gains.
