Warning! For your own safety, do not connect the log splitter to the power
source until the machine is completely assembled and you have read and
understood the entire instruction manual.
Warning! Never use the log splitter if it is not in perfect order or if it needs
servicing. Before starting work, check correct functioning of all the safety
devices.
Assembling Frame Stand
Note: The frame stand (A) Fig.4 comes installed but needs to be
unmounted and rotated 180 degrees to be in the operating orientation.
1) Using a 14mm wrench, remove the two hex. nuts and spring washers (B)
Fig.4 that hold the frame stand (A) onto the frame.
2) Remove the frame stand (A) Fig.4 and rotate it 180 degrees. Reinstall it
with the handle on the outside using the two hex. nuts and spring
washers (B) removed previously.
Assembling Wheels
Before operating the log splitter, it is necessary to install both wheels on the
wheel shafts.
1) Slide a wheel (A) Fig.5 onto the wheel shaft (B). Secure the wheel using
a cotter pin (C). Split the cotter pin as shown to secure the wheel.
2) Install wheel cap (D) inside the opening.
3) Repeat for the second wheel.
Assembling Handle and Knob
1) Install the engagement handle (A) Fig.6 onto the engagement shaft.
Tighten completely.
2) Install safety lever knob (B) Fig.6 on safety lever (C). Tighten
completely.
