7 TMS software configuration
7.1

Start/Restart TMS Service (if required)

Start Menu > Administrative Tools > Services > tms (Start)
Note: every time the TMS configuration is changed it requires restarting the TMS
Service. To do so: Start Menu > Administrative Tools > Services > tms (Restart).

7.1.1 View TMS GUI on Web browser

On the desktop, the TMS Shortcut is predefined as
http://localhost:8400/TMS-Server
Double-click on the TMS Shortcut on the Desktop
Check that the log in page is visible
If the page does not show up, add it to the trusted list in Internet Explorer (see page
22 for how to do it)

Double click on the TMS icon on desktop

The majority of the configuration of the software will already be completed during the
factory build of the projector. The sections below document the processes that need
to take place onsite once the CHIPS rack has been powered on and connected to a
projector.
