6. Troubleshooting

4000 VOLTS EXIST AT THE HIGH VOLTAGE AREA. DO NOT OPERATE THE OVEN WITH CABINET PARTS REM OVED. DO NOT REM OVE
THE CABINET PARTS IF THE POW ER SUPPLY CORD IS PLUGGED IN THE W ALL OUTLET. UNPLUG THE POW ER CORD BEFORE
SERVICING.

NOTE : Interlock monitor sw itch must be replaced w hen the fuse is blow n out.

WARNING FOR HIGH VOLTAGE
Cause
Check continuity of the primary sw itch terminals w ith
w ire removed using a multimeter. If there is continuity
betw een sw itch terminals w hen door is opened,
the sw itch is defective.
Check continuity of the monitor sw itch terminals
w ith w ire removed by using a multimeter.
If there is continuity betw een sw itch terminals
w hen the door is closed, the sw itch is defective.
The fuse w ill not blow right aw ay, but if it blow s in a
few seconds, then there is a layer short.
If the fuse blow s w ith H. V. Trans secondary open, the
transformer may be faulty.
Check fuse.
Check continuity of pow er supply cord. Also check
w hether the pow er cord is securely w ired.
The fan motor rotates, but lamp does not light.
Check the terminals of timer for continuity,
turning the timer knob ON and OFF repeatedly.
In this case the oven lamp and fan do not
turn on
If 220~230V is found at motor terminals, the motor
should be replaced.
The oven lamp does not light and fan motor
does not operate.
Diagnosis Remedy
Replace the primary
interlock sw itch
Replace the interlock
monitor sw itch
Replace H. V. Transformer
Replace the fuse.
Adjust or replace the
pow er supply cord.
Replace the lamp.
Replace the timer.
Replace the
thermal cutout S/ W
Replace the motor.
Replace the timer.
