Hardware Installation 1. Remove the ceiling tile. 2. Place the Ceiling Backing Plate in the center of the ceiling tile. Mark the four mounting screw holes and the inner edge of the Ceiling Backing Plate. This opening will be used to seat the Mounting Plate. - Page 4 4. Use the four Mounting Screws to attach the UniFi nanoHD AP’s mounting bracket to the Mounting Plate. Note: Ensure that the U logo on the mounting bracket is facing outwards when you secure it to the Mounting Plate. Locking Tab...
- Page 5 5. Insert the four Ceiling Screws through the Mounting Plate, ceiling tile, and Ceiling Backing Plate. Hand-tighten the four Keps Nuts to fasten the screws. Then feed the Ethernet cable through the tile and bracket. IMPORTANT: We recommend that you hand-tighten the Keps Nuts to avoid compressing the ceiling tile.

- Page 7 8. Rotate the UniFi nanoHD AP clockwise until the tabs lock into place and the Locking Tab engages. 9. Place the Mounting Cover on over the Mounting Plate. Press until it snaps into place. Note: There is a release slot on the Mounting Cover.
- Page 8 Removal Tips • To remove the Mounting Cover from the Mounting Plate, insert a flathead screwdriver into the release slot on the Mounting Cover and lift to detach it. • To remove the AP from its mounting bracket, use a flathead screwdriver to lift the Locking Tab while turning the AP counterclockwise.
