Introduction The ARIA EC compact air conditioning module is available in two sizes for conditioning rooms from 12 to 50 m². ARIA EC has been designed to match with very last rules in energy savings and comfort. It is equipped with new generation electronic commutation (EC) motors whose electric consumption is lower than motors used in traditional fan coils.
Main components Fan motor The ARIA EC unit is equipped with a centrifugal forward curved single scroll fan with double inlet. The fan (s) will respectively produce a nominal airflow at 40 Pa static pressure from 400 m /h (size 10) to 900 m /h (size 40).
Electric heater The electric heater is of the bare wire resistive type installed in the fan discharge air stream, assuring optimum coverage and maximum heat exchange. Available as standard with a capacity of 500, 800, 1200, 1500 or 3000 Watts, the 230 V/1/50 Hz power supply is provided directly from the controller or via a relay and a fuse.

Control valves Two types of valve body has been qualified for controlling the water flow in ARIA EC units cooling or heating coils 2 way valve body and 3 ways with bypass: brass valve stainless steel stem flat face for washer seal bronze body male thread 1/2G fluid: water with max 50 % glycol.
SPECIFICATION GUIDE Supply ARIA EC type air conditioning terminal units for chilled and hot water or electric heater application in accordance with the dimensional drawings. The performance of the ARIA units shall conform to the published data The casings of the ARIA EC units will be made of galvanised steel of 8/10 mm minimum thickness and insulated internally with Melamine foam insulation, of 8 mm minimum thickness, protected by aluminium foil glued to the exposed surface.
