Do you have a question about the SX5200R, SX5200E and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
Best way to remove the auger pulley to replace belt if pulley is frozen.
To remove a frozen auger pulley on a Snapper SX5200R or SX5200E for belt replacement:
1. Stop the engine, remove the key, and disconnect the spark plug wire.
2. Remove the belt cover.
3. Loosen or remove the auger pulley. Note: The pulley has left-hand threads, so turn it clockwise to loosen.
4. If the pulley is frozen and difficult to remove, apply penetrating oil and gently tap with a soft mallet to loosen.
5. Once loose, push the spring-tensioned idler pulley down and remove the belt.
Always ensure the engine is off and cannot start during this process.
