Safety-relevant parameters
This table offers you an overview of which safety-relevant parameters must be set.
These parameters depend on which type of sensor you have activated in SIMATIC PDM
Select a type of sensor
Broken wire monitoring
Short-circuit monitoring
Current Output Scaling
Fault Current
1) SIMATIC PDM parameter names could differ from those parameter names in SIPROM T. There-
fore, in case of using SIPROM T, please consult the SIPROM T Operating Instructions.
2) Short circuit threshold shall be ≤ 5 Ohm
Current sensor function and simulation function (only available in SITRANS TH300 via SIMATIC
PDM)
The use of the current sensor function and the simulation in safety-related operations can
result in undesirable operating states.
The use of both functions is not permitted during safety-related operations.
