    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 8 - MOVING AND SHIPPING The packing of the machine guarantees protection even during shipments with normal means of transport. Special packing can be supplied in case of particular requests by the user. These models are supplied with a carton packing which allows to store them one above the other (1+1 max.) and to move them for a short way.
  • Page 11 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Transport with wooden crate or wooden case. ( BY REQUEST , ON CHARGE ) The machine is wrapped with thermoplastic material in order to assure a suited protection of all its parts; then it is packed into a wooden crate or cage to protect it from collisions, inclement weather and so on. To lift it, use a forklift from front side of machine, with forks length 1.5 m or more (see picture ).
  • Page 12 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE making several cuts with the same cutting length. Loading roller table – To install them correctly, the saw must be fixed to the floor. The machine is equipped with connection for loading table (left side). Remove the roller to connect the first element of the loading table (type RTS).
  • Page 13 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Foot control - supplied as optional. It is connected to the socket placed on the rear part of the panel. By pushing it, the machine starts. Supplementary pneumatic vice - connected to the standard vice, allows to lock workpiece on both sides of the cuts (only for 90 degrees cuts) Voltage transformer - set it between the electric equipment of the building and the electric supply of the machine.
  • Page 14 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The following chart refers to the cut of a solid with diameter 80mm, using a standard bandsaw. If the material size changes, the corresponding parameters change as well, according to the type of machine and to the possible accessories which have been installed. For example, in case the material size increases, these parameters have to be reduced, and vice versa.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE  11 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND WARNINGS This machine can make automatic work cycles, however at the end of each one the operator has to remove the material that has been cut and possibly change the cutting conditions. Therefore the saw sometimes must be manually adjusted and then it works in automatic cycle (so the operator is not indispensable).

    In the following paragraphs you will find all information to use the machine in the best way and for a very long time. BS 300 PLUS SH The choice and the use of the parts have been made by considering the conditions of use and the long machine life.
  • Page 19 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE In particular it respects the technical prescriptions of the norms EN 55011 and EN 50082-2, and it is foreseen to be used in industrial enviroments and not in residential ones. 13 - MACHINE SETTING FOR STARTING Verify that the machine has not apparent damages or faults and check the standard equipment that includes tools, fittings to carry out some adjustments, use and maintenance handbook.

  • Page 21 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The above mentioned described procedure must be the also same one to change the blade after a change of pitch, wear and tear, and break .It will be necessary a careful cleaning of all points of connection with the band.

Position the front shaft of blade guide holder 15/RI0074 so that it does not bump against the piece or the jaws when the saw frame is coming down.
  • Page 23 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE To make these cuts it is necessary to unlock the lever-pos.9- , turn the saw frame manually until you read on the scale-pos.17- the desired angle then lock the lever-pos.9-. again. Predetermineted lockings make easier on the positions 0 deg. , 45 and 60 deg. To move saw frame from an angle to another it is better you put no workpiece on the work table or tight in the vice.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BLADE - Adjustment of the blade guides because of different blade thickness: picture RI0372 This adjustment must be done when you have a blade with thickness other than 0.9 mm or in case the hard metal pads are worn out. The easiest test is the following: put a blade in the guides and move it back and forth to evaluate the mechanical play.
  • Page 25 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE General working pressure - dr.RI0340-. the device is equipped with a filter-pos.4- with automatic discharge of impurities , a pressure regulator- pos.5-, an installation lubricator-pos.3- and a manometer-pos.2- usually regulated at 6 BAR . The changes must be made as follows : take the ring-pos.1- of the reduction gear , pull up it, and wheel it on the indicated direction to increase or to reduce the pressure.
  • Page 26 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Make sure that there is oil in the gearbox: with the motor running and the sawframe all the way down, you can check the oil level inside the window placed on the right side of the reducer. Replace the coolant MONTHLY and clean the tank.
