Focus Mode

Use the FOCUS MODE option in the F AF/MF SETTING
menu to choose how the camera focuses.
1 Press MENU/OK to display the menus.
2 Select F AF/MF SETTING > FOCUS MODE in the shooting
menu.

Choose from the following options:

TRACKING
When the shutter button is pressed halfway, the camera
detects high-contrast subjects and selects the focus area
automatically.
The focus area can be changed. Press the selector up,
down, left, or right to move the focus area, and then press
MENU/OK to apply the focus area setting.
Position the subject in the center focus area and press
DISP/BACK. Focus will track the subject as it moves through
the frame.
